About the Event
If you are looking for guidance on how to get comfortable so you can successfully meditate, this is the event for you. Instructor Kala MacDonald will teach ways to incorporate things you have around the house to find your seat and meditate successfully and comfortably. Gather around the table to hear Chef Jacquelyn Jones of Starving and Single share her story as to how she healed herself through food, and the power of food as medicine. There will be a food demo, followed by a beautiful, delicious and organic three course plant-based meal that will leave you feeling full and nourished. You will walk away with ways to practice meditation at home, as well as a recipe card for one of the three courses, and a tasty treat.
This event is outdoors, so please dress accordingly. For this event, please bring your yoga mat and anything you have at home to get comfortable, such as pillows, blankets, beach towels, blocks or bolsters. Whatever you have that you can use for this practice and set yourself up again when you return home and continue your practice.
