About the Event

Everyone could use a little reset, and that's exactly what we will be doing at the Detox Your Mind and Body Retreat. 

We detoxify continuously throughout life. We process food, thoughts, and all forms of energy. When that flow is continuous and clear, we are steady and flexible. The trouble is that we accumulate more than we process. We become weighted down under the ash of metabolism and the remnants of old emotions. We will systematically move the energy of the body and mind to keep you light and vitalized. We begin by moving stagnant toxins through your body with a series of exercises to stir them up and release them from your system, followed by a meditation to rearrange habit patterns of the subconscious mind and a deep concentration to identify attachments and let go of them. This kriya (exercise set) will bring you clarity by detoxing your body and mind. 

When your body is full of toxins it can't do its job, which is to heal, clean, and renew. Returning to a more natural way of eating allows the body to do just this. Detoxification doesn't just apply to our bodies, but our environment as well. From cosmetics laden with chemicals, the cleaning products we use, to the air we breathe, our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins. We live in a world where toxins are unavoidable, but we have the power to choose what goes in our bodies and the type of home environment we wish to live in. We invite you to sit at our communal table, where Chef Jacquelyn will serve a plant-based meal to help detox the body and hit the reset button. Take notes during her informative talk on the Top 10 Ways to Rejuvenate Your Body + Home, and listen as she shares her story on how she healed herself using food as medicine and the benefits of living a plant-based lifestyle. Chef Jacquelyn shares how each dish was prepared and their health benefits. All produce is sourced from local farmers, is organic, non-gmo, and made from scratch.
