The Full Story

Hello! Welcome to SolFood Collective. I'm a Certified Health and Wellness Practitioner/Vegan Chef, and founder of SolFood Collective. I love teaching my online SolFood Collective Cooking Classes, eating clean, doing yoga, meditating, and spending time in the kitchen creating recipes and making videos for my YouTube Channel. I believe what we feed our mind is equally as important as what we feed our body. When you understand that the mind and body are connected, you can create an environment for the body to live in balance. I am very proud to say, I was able to live out my dream of being on the Food Network! I was featured on Season 10 of The Great Food Truck Race, where my SolFood Collective truck served delicious vegan dishes. Since then I have moved from Los Angeles to Perrysburg, OH, where I opened SolFood Collective Kitchen.

I started my journey in health and wellness after I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, (a.k.a the bamboo spine) in 2015 and used food as medicine to reverse my symptoms. Before changing my way of eating, my disease progressed, leaving me unable to walk and in need of constant care. After getting my diagnosis and being treated with medications that didn't work, I was told chemotherapy was my future. I decided to take matters into my own hands and adopt a vegan lifestyle. Within 6 months I lowered my inflammation, was able to walk without assistance, got off all medications, sleeping 8+ hours, repaired my gut health, balanced my hormones, lost 40 pounds, and was pain-free for the first time in over 20 years. Living the vibrant life I've always envisioned, I now take my experience, knowledge, and love of food to help others overcome their struggles with health and get on the road to recovery.

I am a Certified Health and Wellness Practitioner, trained in over 100 dietary theories. I offer clients one-on-one holistic support for overall wellness, integrating methods I have studied and ones I used on my journey. Whether you are looking to reverse symptoms due to an autoimmune-related disease, have chronic pain and inflammation, or poor gut health, or you just want ideas to improve your health, I am here to help
