SolFood Collective Presents: Chant N Plant
Time & Location
About the Event
In the Chant N Plant series we will use sound current (mantra) combined with meditation to encourage new ways of thinking, stimulate creativity, relax the mind, and open yourself to your unlimited potential.
After our chant, we will play with the combination of creativity and connection by creating a unique plant using the ancient Japanese technique known as a kokedama. Tied to the practice of bonsai kokedama literally translates to “moss ball”. It is the practice of taking the root ball of a plant and suspending it in a mud ball, which is then coated with soft green moss. It is a living planter as well as a distinctive display piece.
There will be light refreshments provided by Chef Jacquelyn, along with a talk on how she healed herself though diet, how you can use food as medicine, and the benefits of living and plant-based lifestyle. All produced is sourced from local farmers, organic, non-gmo and made from scratch.
Address to the private residence will be given upon ticket purchase.
